Selin Charter is a local archipelago company based in northern Bohuslän. Selin Charter is run by Stephan and Helena. With local knowledge, personal hospitality and many years of experience in the archipelago, we aim to create safe, personal and memorable experiences at sea – always with care for our guests and respect for the archipelago in which we operate.

Selin Charter operates in one of the Swedish West Coast’s most unique coastal and marine areas. This is where the Strömstad archipelago, Kosterhavet, the Koster Islands, Resö and the living coastal environments of northern Bohuslän meet.

Selin Charter’s Award-Winning and local commitment to the Alaska Garden

Selin Charter is closely connected to the archipelago of northern Bohuslän, not only through boat trips at sea but also through the local cultural heritage found on the islands and in the coastal communities. An important part of this story is the Alaska Garden on Nord-Långö, also known as Hilma’s Alaska. Helena Lantz, who runs Alaska, has been recognised for her work in preserving and developing this unique place in the Strömstad archipelago.

Helena was awarded the Strömstad Culture Award in 2020 for her commitment to keeping a unique cultural heritage alive. She was also awarded the Strömstad Tourism Award in 2022, highlighting the importance of her work for the visitor industry, cultural heritage and experience-based tourism in the area.
